Welcome to bubbl3
bubbl3 sends and receives iMessage through managed phone lines, with SMS fallback when a contact isn't on iMessage. You can use it four ways, all with the same permissions and limits:
| Way in | Use it for | Start here |
|---|---|---|
| REST API | Sending, contacts, conversations and lines from your server | API quick-start |
| Webhooks | Hearing about replies, delivery status and line health | Webhooks quick-start |
| Node SDK | Typed calls and webhook verification in TypeScript | SDK quick-start |
| MCP server | Letting an AI agent message on your behalf | MCP quick-start |
Before you start
- Ask your workspace owner or an admin for an API key. Keys are created in the dashboard under Developers > API keys and are shown once.
- Start with a test key (
b3_test_...). Its messages go to the device simulator, never to a real phone, and it can only send to test numbers. - Keep keys on your server. Never put one in a browser, an app bundle or a repository.

Every call is JSON over HTTPS with Authorization: Bearer <key>. The
API reference lists every public call, generated from the same OpenAPI document
the API serves.
